What Happens If the Redesign Misses the Launch Date?
The short answer
Deposit refunded in full. The 14-day timeline is the contractual commitment, not a target. We’ve missed once in 200+ builds — the financial backstop is what makes the timeline real.

The deal: 50% deposit at signing, balance at launch. If launch slips past Day 14 (Standard tier) for reasons within our control, deposit refunded in full and project continues at no upfront cost. The financial accountability is what makes scope discipline real.
Reasons that count as ‘within our control’: we ran out of time, our team mismanaged the sprint, technical issues we should have anticipated. Reasons that don’t: client missed the Day 11 demo (we can’t QA without sign-off), client requested out-of-scope changes after Day 3 lock, client’s hosting provider had an outage during cutover, force majeure.
What actually happens when we miss: we’ve missed once in 200+ builds. The miss was a hosting migration that required emergency provider change during launch week. Deposit refunded. Project completed Day 18. Client became a Care Plan customer for 18 months afterward — the financial guarantee built trust the redesign alone couldn’t have.
Why the guarantee exists: because most agencies don’t make it. The ‘we’ll ship when we ship’ attitude is industry-standard. The guarantee separates us from the 8-14 week agencies and forces us to maintain the discipline that makes 14 days possible.
№ 02What if launch slips because of MY delays?
Different math. If you missed the Day 7 demo, the timeline shifts proportionally and the guarantee adjusts accordingly. We’ll document the dependency in writing during the project.
№ 03Is the guarantee in the contract?
Yes. The MSA includes the deposit-refund clause for on-our-side timeline slips. Worth reading; it’s the part most agencies don’t include.
№ 04Can you guarantee a specific calendar date?
For Standard and Authority tier, yes — if you’re booking 4+ weeks out. The hard-date commitment requires the same scope lock; it just locks to a calendar.
