Do You Offer Fixed Pricing or Hourly?
The short answer
Fixed pricing on all build projects. Starter $3K, Standard $5K, Authority $8K. Hourly pricing only for post-launch Care Plans ($150/hour) and out-of-scope additions. No ‘starting from’ weasel words.
№ 01The longer answer
Fixed pricing is a discipline. It forces us to scope correctly, lock scope hard, and ship on time. Hourly pricing rewards agencies for going slower. Fixed pricing forces us to be efficient because the margin is in the discipline.
What this means for you: at signing, you know the total project cost. There are no surprise ‘we hit some unexpected complexity, here’s a change order’ moments. The price on the page is the price. Tier 1 = $3,000. Tier 2 = $5,000. Tier 3 = $8,000. Enterprise scope = custom-quoted with a fixed number.
Where hourly pricing IS used: post-launch Care Plan ($150/hour for ad-hoc requests above Care Plan included hours), out-of-scope additions during a project (deferred to post-launch), and emergency support (rare, $200/hour weekends/holidays).
What we won’t quote: ‘starting from’ pricing. ‘It depends.’ ‘We’ll need a discovery call before we can talk numbers.’ Those phrases are how agencies hide that they don’t actually scope until they’re already in the engagement. Our pricing is on the page. The audit ($500) is the formal scoping vehicle.
№ 02How do you handle scope creep?
Locked scope at Day 3, additional requests deferred to post-launch. The fixed price stays fixed because scope stays fixed.
№ 03What if the actual work takes longer than expected?
That’s our risk, not yours. Fixed price means fixed price. We’ve taken margin hits on 8 projects in the last 18 months; that’s the cost of scope discipline being our problem, not yours.
№ 04Is there a deposit?
Yes — 50% at signing, balance at launch. Deposit refundable if we miss the 14-day timeline.
