Do You Set Up Google Shopping?

14 days kickoff → live $3K–$15K+ scope-tiered WCAG 2.1 AA baseline

The short answer

Yes — product feed configuration is included at Catalog tier ($12K) and above. We set up the WooCommerce-to-Google-Merchant-Center product feed via the Google Listings & Ads plugin, configure your Merchant Center, and submit to Google Shopping. Campaign management itself we refer to PPC specialists.

№ 01The longer answer

The technical setup is what we own: Google Listings & Ads plugin installed and configured, WooCommerce product attributes mapped to Google product taxonomy (GTIN, MPN, brand, category, condition), product feed published and submitted to Google Merchant Center, structured data on PDPs to support free product listings.

Free product listings (the organic Shopping tab results, not paid ads) drive surprisingly meaningful traffic for mid-market stores — typically 8-15% of organic ecommerce traffic in 2026. Setup is the same as paid: the difference is whether you launch ad campaigns or not.

Campaign management (bid strategy, audience targeting, creative testing, ROAS optimization) we don’t do. We refer to two Tampa-based PPC agencies that specialize in Google Shopping for mid-market ecommerce. Typical management retainer: $1,500-$5,000/month plus ad spend.

Common feed errors we fix at setup: missing GTIN/UPC (required for branded products), missing brand attribute, image quality flags (we ensure images meet 800×800 minimum), category mismatches. Clean feed at launch typically means 80%+ of products live in Merchant Center within 48 hours.

№ 02Do I need GTINs for every product?

For branded products that have UPCs, yes. For private-label or custom products, you can set the ‘identifier_exists: no’ attribute and pass with brand + MPN. We configure correctly during setup.

№ 03What about Microsoft Shopping or Meta Shops?

Microsoft Shopping uses a similar feed structure — we can configure it at the same time for ~2-4 additional hours. Meta Shops (Facebook/Instagram catalog) uses a slightly different feed; we set up via the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin.

№ 04How long until products are live?

Feed submission: same day. Google review: 24-72 hours. First live products typically within 48 hours. Disapproved products (usually identifier or image issues) are flagged for fix.
